What is IGCSE?
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a globally recognized qualification for students typically aged 14 to 16. It was developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) in 1988. The IGCSE curriculum offers a wide range of subjects, encouraging students to explore various academic areas, including sciences, languages, and humanities.
The program focuses on developing students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and application skills. It is assessed through written exams, coursework, or practicals, and the results are graded on an A* to G scale. The IGCSE is widely accepted as a qualification for higher education and professional studies worldwide.
